Arx explores playful, sculptural forms, grounded by a singular connection point that defines each piece. A separated knob that sinks into each piece introduces a subtle softness, creating a pillowed surface that contrasts with the solidity of the material.

Stacked, cairn-like bases establish a sense of weight and permanence, giving the work a monolithic presence. The scale of these bases is intentionally varied, shifting the visual balance of each piece — either grounding it or lifting it within a space.

These forms create a framework for material exploration across stone, wood, ceramic, glass, and fabric, allowing each piece the opportunity to take on a distinct character while maintaining a consistent language.
