Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Unpack and Organize

1. Carefully unpack all parts and place them on a soft, flat surface to prevent scratches.

2. Unpack the hardware kit, which includes:

• 2× Festool domino connectors

• 1× Allen key

• 1× 10mm wrench

• 5× Bolts

Step 2: Install the Festool Connectors

1. Locate the rail connection points on each side panel.

2. Screw in the Festool domino connectors into these points, tightening them fully with the 10mm wrench.

3. Once fully tightened, unscrew slightly so that the cup-side of the connector faces up.

Step 3: Attach the First Rail

1. Identify the labeled parts (L to L, R to R) to ensure correct orientation.

2. Slide the rail into one of the side panels until fully seated.

3. Using the Allen key, tighten the small screw on the top side of the rail. This will pull the rail securely into place using the Festool connector cup.

Step 4: Attach the Opposite Side Panel

1. Stand up the connected side and rail in an upright position.

2. Align and attach the opposite side panel, ensuring all labels match.

Step 5: Install the Seat Platen

1. Place the hardwood seat platen on top with the black cushion clips facing up.

2. Align according to the reference labels.

Step 6: Secure with Bolts

1. Insert the bolts into their respective holes. Start threading them by hand to avoid cross-threading.

2. Once the bolts are mostly tightened, use the Allen key to fully secure them. (Do not overtighten.)

Step 7: Attach the Cushion

1. Using the labels as a guide, align the cushion so that the clips line up properly.

2. Firmly press down to snap the cushion into place.
